Protecting our world heritage 

We are losing this vital part of our world heritage at an alarming rate of 1% pr year in favor of farming, biofuel production, cattle ranching or unlawful logging operations.

About 20% of the world’s total CO2 emissions come from tree felling and deforestation fires (Source: International Panel on Climate Change). This would correspond to the CO2 volume generated from flying eight million people by plane from London to New York every day of the year.
